An extension of an existing partnership

A time-honored, dependable business, Trans Lease has been a trusted source of truck and trailer financing since 1991. No matter the size or shape of a commercial vehicle, Trans Lease is up to the task of supplying equipment while offering an array of financing options. Armed with vast knowledge and stolid integrity, Trans Lease has positioned themselves as a leader in the commercial financing industry. After forging a successful partnership with parent company Transwest, By the Pixel was tasked with designing a site for Trans Lease as well. Eager to work with this well-established company, we began discussing the key fixes needed to reinvigorate the website.

Create an engaging experience for customers, old & new

To help clients navigate their site, Trans Lease was looking for an inviting, responsive platform. We wanted to build a WordPress site that flowed smoothly for customers so they could travel seamlessly from one section to the next.

Improve search engine ranking

Trans Lease is a business worth knowing about. To ensure the website could be reached by those who needed it, the company wanted to increase its visibility within relevant search engine results.

Revamp the design with a cutting-edge look

To adequately reflect the quality of their services, Trans Lease sought an aesthetically pleasing website as finely tuned as their work. With WordPress as the foundation, we designed a visually interesting and interactive website.

Engaging, brand-adherent design elements

With the goal of revitalization in mind, our designers approached the website-building process head-on. Inspired by Trans Lease’s existing logo, we focused on cultivating professionalism, warmth, and intelligence. Adhering to the brand’s red and white color scheme, we created a site that’s clear-cut and visually appealing. Custom, manually designed icons also add a touch of visual flair.

MegaNav interface for a more cohesive structure

Rather than only using WordPress’s default settings, we used the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin to create an expansive menu system. The ACF plugin provides an easily extendable interface for content creation into custom design components without sacrificing the user experience.

Intuitive information architecture

In all elements of their business, Trans Lease strives to make things easier for customers. We implemented this simplicity into the Trans Lease website by intentionally making things sleek, intuitive, and accessible. Completely redesigning the site’s information architecture, we clustered related topics together and used subheadings to direct users toward pertinent information. We presented this to the client with a site map, or website blueprint.

Using SEO to soar upward in search results

Our team of content creators knows how to utilize words to your business’s advantage. We crafted FAQs filled with subtly placed keywords, helping Trans Lease climb the search engine ranks. By conducting meticulous keyword research, we determined which words yield the best results and implemented these accordingly. This strategy can be seen throughout Trans Lease’s site, with keyword-focused headings, titles, and metadata.

Stimulating graphics and engaging written content also help make Trans Lease’s site more attractive to search engines. We also incorporated structured data, a kind of coding that contextualizes website data so that search engines can better understand it. Structured data increases website traffic, so we used it to bring more customers to the Trans Lease website.

Strategic use of WordPress features

Though Trans Lease’s old site used WordPress as well, the platform’s full potential wasn’t reached until we intervened. We played to the strengths of WordPress, making use of its simple approach and ultimately producing a high-quality product. While Trans Lease’s old site was more prone to service issues, our version functions well and allows for quick, easy updates. Customized on a WordPress platform, Trans Lease’s new site is beautiful without compromising simplicity. Striking design elements go hand in hand with user-friendliness, creating a unique and convenient navigation experience.

Modular, conversion-focused landing page creation

A well-constructed landing page relies on component placement. When designing and developing Trans Lease’s site, we intentionally embedded conversion-optimizing marketing features into the site’s layout. For example, we made call-to-action buttons more readily noticeable in order to attract more clicks. WordPress is widely known for its customization options, and we put this to use in order to improve Trans Lease’s site.
