About the Role

By the Pixel is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team who is hungry to have a role in our growth. You will lead digital projects by helping direct strategy and team focus. You will build relationships with our clients, identify solutions to challenges, and manage expectations. You will help refine objectives, write scope, manage timelines, and work with our team to fulfill client goals.

A successful candidate should be passionate about innovation and have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of projects from discovery through launch and beyond.
• Builds relationships with clients and act as their principal point of contact to help them achieve their goals.
• Manages the client and internal team to ensure that milestones are reached.
• Continuously explore and evaluate tools and methods to improve efficiency in project management and across the company.
• Creates a project schedule and timeline or a full Project Management Plan as determined by an Account Manager.
• Leads effort to prime and refine upcoming work.
• Reports urgent project task completion issues that cannot be resolved independently to the Account Manager ASAP.
• Utilizes project management software to create and manage tasks, timelines, team members, estimates, etc.
• Facilitates hand-off communication and meetings between internal departments.
• Generates required reports for each project, including status reports, monthly reports of work delivered, weekly time, etc.
• Simplifies ad hoc collaboration efforts within the company and team to create solutions.
• Schedules and attends client meetings as needed.
• Tracks budget and proactively reports concerns with overages to the Account Manager
• Assists Account Managers in conducting post-mortem meetings based on follow-up with team and client to identify successes and failures.
• Contributes ideas on how to improve project management processes within the company.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.

Required Skills/Experience

• Suggested 3+ years of experience managing projects
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, Asana, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Ability to pay strict attention to detail and organize multiple priorities
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Ability to explain work and speak professionally in client presentations
• Self-motivation to deliver world-class work and exceed expectations
• Ability to work well with teams made up of teammates in multiple disciplines
• English level: Excellent

Bonus Skills

• Experience working within a digital agency
• In-depth understanding of the web design and engineering process, and familiarity with the department workflows involved (marketing, development, design, and quality assurance)

Salary

$70,000 - $115,000 per year
